Recently Autauga County Teachers were awarded at the Elementary and Secondary levels as Teachers of the Year for their respective schools. The Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce along with the Autauga Education Foundation hosts the winners and a celebration for them all.
Former Alabama Education Association Uniserv District 18 Director and Current AEA Director of Government Relations, Dr. Allison Baulch King, along with Chamber Chairman Patty VanderWal, surprised all the teachers.
Autauga County Schools Superintendent Tim Tidmore told EAN “Each of the teachers nominated for ‘Teacher of the Year’ are well deserving of the honor. I am proud to work with them.” Newly elected Autauga County Board of Education Chairperson Kim Crockett said “Autauga County is so lucky to have each and every one of these teachers in our schools every day!
