Wetumpka Youth Football & Cheerleading League
This past Saturday, November 5, 2022, the Wetumpka Youth Football & Cheerleading League Junior Division (8/9 Year Olds) were able to defeat the Pike Road Patriots (Grey Team) at the Tri-County Youth Football & Cheerleading Conference (TCYFCC) Championship game held in Pike Road. The final score was 22-8. This age division was able to complete the regular season undefeated at 6-0 and then continued through the playoffs (single elimination) to bring the CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY home to the CITY OF WETUMPKA!!!
This is a testament to the hard work and dedication put in by the youth players and volunteer coaching staff of this team. The team was coached by the following individuals who volunteered their time:
