Perfect Weather, Big Crowd blesses AngelFest in Millbrook

BY VIRGINIA BARBER

ST. MICHAEL AND ALL ANGEL’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH OF MILLBROOK

A little church with a BIG heart is what St Michael and All Angel’s Episcopal Church is known for and Saturday was no different. It was their annual AngelFest. If you have lived in Millbrook for a while, you know about their AngelFest! It’s a great time with vendors, best Boston butts around, boiled peanuts, carnival games, and so much more! The annual AngelFest brings many people from the tri-county area to purchase local art, buy amazing baked goods made by members of the church, bid on silent auction baskets, and fellowship with others. It was a beautiful day with cool temperatures early and then the sun blessed us all with a warm but comfortable day!

Something new they have added are food trucks and what a great way to advertise for your food truck than being right on Main Street! This year they had Mama Laura’s, ice cream truck, and Kona Ice! The food trucks fed many after they walked the beautiful grounds of St Michael’s. The Ice cream truck also was started through a church and all proceeds from their sales go to their youth group for mission trips!

Once again AngelFest was a success and so many were able to come by and visit. We look forward to another year of planning our biggest fundraiser of the year. The best part is that all of the proceeds go right back into our amazing community through our ministries.

Just to name a few, proceeds go towards our blessing box that feeds many families each week, the Welcome center, and helping our schools throughout the year. Thank you all for your support whether you bought a butt, boiled peanuts, or a craft from a vendor or you took home some amazing baked goods, or you just stopped by to visit, we appreciate you for making AngelFest 2022 a success!
