God Speed Biker Ministries and One More on the River of Millbrook will be hosting an All Day event Sept. 11 beginning at 11:11 a.m.. The day begins with a service to remember the Fallen Heroes.
The Millbrook Fire Department will be displaying a giant American Flag. There will be a 21 Gun Salute, folding of the flag, and a guest speaker, followed by Taps.
Food will be available with a donation. A race car will be on display and music will be offered by Jeff Roberts, Forgiven Sinners, Alex Walker, Under the Sunshine Band.
There is also a chance to win a Harley motorcyclewith the purchase of a donation of $100. Other prices include $1,000, $500, or $200 cash. Tickets are available at One More on the River, Big Star 82 Taven or from any God Speed Biker Ministries member. It is listed under Facebook events and Venmo and Cash App are accepted. The donation of $100 is tax deductible to Biker Charity (501C3).
All monies raised will go to the Millbrook Child Development program, the 2023 American Legion Scholarship Fund and Home improvements for God Speed Biker Ministries.
One More on the River is located at 4330 River Oaks Road in Millbrook.
