Thumper is a 4-year-old male Beagle/Spaniel mix who has already been neutered. He is an owner turn in because his owner could no longer keep him.
Thumper is such a handsome guy with his shiny black coat and white markings. He weighs only 30 pounds so he is a great size to fit in just about anywhere! Thumper is playful and active but very well behaved. He is smart as he can be–leash trained and house trained. Thumper is great with other dogs and children.
This guy is going to make a simply amazing family dog for some lucky adopter. Come out and meet Thumper ASAP; he is going to find a home quickly!
Our adoption fee is $120 for dogs and $50 for cats. This fee covers a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.
Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville. Our regular hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm. We are closed the last Thursday of the month for staff training. Adoptions are currently by appointment only.
