Millbrook Farmers Market Continues to Make an Impact with Large Crowds

By David Stinchcomb

Intern EA News

As we enter the middle of Summer and face temperatures in the 90s, the Millbrook Farmers Market continues to have a successful season and a huge impact on the community and it’s vendors.

Among those vendors is Henry Tucker of Titus. He owns a boiled peanut business and he discussed how much growth he’s seen since he first started. “My customers have grown substantially,” said Tucker.

As for sales, vendors have reported positive results since they started selling produce at the market. “It has been excellent. I’m making about 300 jars a week now.” said Tif Smith, owner of Tif’s Piggy Pickles.

Customer growth continues throughout the years. There’s such a huge variety of choices when it comes to produces, baked goods, honey and more.

Make sure that you visit The Farmers Market in Village Green Park. The Farmers Market is open on Tuesdays from 7 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and on Saturday, June 25 and July 23.
