Grandview Pines Baptist Church opened their Vacation Bible School Sunday night which will run daily from 6 to 7:30 p.m. through Wednesday, July 28.
The ages are from age 4 through the 6th grade! Snacks, games, Bible songs and crafts are provided each night! Parents and teens are welcome to attend along with the children to observe all activities.
T-shirts and buttons are available while supplies last and transportation is provided.
The theme for this year is, “Catch Up with Jesus” Lettuce Praise and Relish Him!
Pastor Sangster encourages every child to attend each night and also bring along your friends too!!
Sunday night participants heard a message from Pastor Sangster, recited a Bible verse, sang Bible songs, watched the little children make a craft and the bigger kids got to play fun games outside!
Also, a BIG surprise happened and it was all about Ketchup!! They are having a competition against the girls verses the boys each night. The girls won Sunday, so the surprise was Ms. Ketchup got to put a ketchup pie in Mr. Ketchup’s face! Mr. and Mrs. Ketchup are Brother Jarott Williams and Mrs. Heather Williams.
The children loved watching this happen. For the rest of the week participants will learn about new condiments, and have more surprises and continuing their education about Jesus.
Parents and children are encouraged to come out and enjoy Vacation Bible School at Grandview Pines Baptist Church.
