On April 24th Robinson Springs United Methodist Church of Millbrook held their inaugural Spring Fling event at the church and everyone was invited to attend. RSUMC is located at 5980 Main Street in Millbrook, Alabama. There were inflatables for the children, lots of outdoor games and refreshments for all to enjoy. Over 60 people enjoyed being out on a beautiful spring day to share with their friends and family. The event was open to the public and everything was free.

Food consisted of hot dogs, chips, potato salad, baked beans, and plenty of juice and water for all. Frank and Cindy Clem are the music leaders for Robinson Springs United Methodist Church and they played a variety of songs outside on a perfect Spring day. The excitement of many children going down a huge inflatable slide, kicking soccer balls onto a giant inflatable target and a bouncy house for little ones was by far the best time for many children. Outdoor games consisted of corn hole, four square, gaga pit and volleyball. As the Clem’s music flowed, many joined in as the children played.

“It was a great day for the community and for our church to have fun and just enjoy being together. We are able to do more things since COVID has lessened and rekindle the relationships from church, too,m” said Pastor Janet Krantz. “Kids enjoyed mingling with one another, and playing games as well as the big inflatables. I would like to personally thank Frank and Cindy Clem for the music, Natalie Strange, the children’s ministry leader, the many volunteers, church members, the community, and the Elmore/Autauga News for coming out today. This is the first Spring Fling event for Robinson Springs, and we hope to do this again next year.”
