For many years, the Dennis family Gospel Singers have entertained crowds, offered benefit concerns and shared their faith to the masses particularly in Alabama.
Recently, a valued member of the family singing group died, and a benefit concert will be held Saturday, April 23, at First Baptist Posey Crossroad beginning at 6 p.m. The church is located at 576 County Road 40 West in Prattville.
There is no admission, but a love offering will be taken with all proceeds benefiting the Dennis Family for expenses related to Denise Pynes Weldon’s death. Just prior to Denise’s passing, the family also bid farewell to their their patriarch, “Wheat” Pynes of Millbrook.
The event will feature the talents of Calvin and Stephanie Thornton, Forgiven Heart, After Grace, and Spoken For.
