WHAT: Eagle Forum of Alabama is hosting a River Region Candidate Fair for candidates and/or their representatives running in the 2022 Republican primary election. We will have candidates for US Senate, Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, State Auditor, Supreme Court, Public Service Commission, Circuit Court Judge, and Alabama State legislature.
This event is set up like a “Meet & Greet,” so don’t worry, you don’t have to listen to long campaign speeches! Candidates will have campaign tables set up inside the Wetumpka Civic Center and citizens will be able meet each candidate individually and ask them questions about the position they are seeking and why they would be the best for that seat. This is always a very well attended event. It’s a fun atmosphere and a great way to meet those in the political realm.
WHEN: Tuesday, April 19th from 6:00-8:00PM
WHERE: The Wetumpka Civic Center, (410 South Main Street, Wetumpka)
WHY: One of Eagle Forum’s missions is to educate citizens on national, state and local issues and help them get involved in our representative government. It is important that people vote for their elected officials because they know what the candidates stand for and do not just rely on 30 second commercials and attractive yard signs. This is a terrific opportunity to ask them questions and understand their positions on issues of concern to you.
