News from Troy University
TROY, AL — Troy University’s Department of Theatre and Dance recently performed Newsies.
A large cast students performed “Newsies’, based on the 1992 Disney hit musical.
The spring show was presented March. 3-6 in Claudia Crosby Theater.
Among the students who participated was William Moncrief of Wetumpka, Alabama. Moncrief was the Assistant Stage Manager as well as the lead percussionist in the orchestra for the show Newsies. He is also a Theatre Education major and a member of the Sound of the South.
