Join us as we recognize and commend Assistant Police Chief Diane Thomas for her 28 years of dedicated service to the City of Prattville and the Prattville Police Department. In 1988, Assistant Chief Thomas began her law enforcement career with Montgomery Police Department, serving a little over three years with MPD.
In 1993, she joined the Prattville Police Department, where she has had a successful career, rising through the ranks and receiving multiple awards and accolades. She was appointed in 2015 as the first African American Assistant Police Chief, where she has been serving for the past seven years.
Assistant Chief Thomas will begin her new career with the Talladega Police Department as the new Chief of Police.
