MONTGOMERY POST – A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 6:20 p.m. Saturday, March 19, has claimed the life of Maplesville man. Bobby A. Mims, 80, was fatally injured when the 2004 Mercury Sable he was driving left the road way and struck a tree. Mims was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred on Chilton County Road 15 approximately seven miles east of Maplesville. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
