Tallassee, Wetumpka and Dadeville Students Compete at All-State Choir in Birmingham

FROM MICHAEL BYRD

SPECIAL TO THE EAN

The Alabama All-State Choir is the most important highlight for the Alabama Vocal Association each year.  It is a gathering of 800 of the top vocal students in the state. Over 1200 students audition for one of three concert choirs: SATB (Soprano-Alto-Tenor-Bass); SSA (Soprano-Alto); or TTBB (Tenor-Bass).

Students from Tallassee, Wetumpka, and Dadeville recently traveled together for the three-day event held at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex.
