Two great events are on tap for the City of Wetumpka.
First up, Thursday, March 10, Arbor Day will be celebrated in Wetumpka at Gold Star Park downtown.
You are invited to join the City of Wetumpka and Wetumpka Pride for an annual tree planting in honor of Juanita Franklin Brand.

EARTH DAY & SPRING MARKET
The Earth Day & Spring Market will be held from 8 a.m. to Noon April 16th at the Wetumpka Farmer’s Market located at 304 East Coosa Street.
Wetumpka Pride Earth Day and the Wetumpka Spring Market will feature a plant swap and plant care advice from Master Gardeners.
There will be FREE T-shirts, as well as food and vendors.
You can also drop off recyclables such as plastic bottles, newspaper, cardboard, books, magazines, aluminum and steel cans. Please bag all recyclables before dropping them off.
