DOTHAN, Ala. – The Alabama Department of Veterans Affairs (ADVA), together with the City of Dothan and other state/federal agencies and employers, is hosting a free one-day, one-stop Veterans Resources and Job Fair at the Dothan Civic Center.
The event is scheduled on March 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is open to the public.
The Veterans Resources and Job Fair is part of a statewide outreach campaign to help Veterans and their families obtain information and receive state and federal benefits and services in addition to offering employment opportunities. Any Veterans or family members in need of assistance applying for VA benefits will have the opportunity to receive aid at the event.
Veterans and their families who attend will have access to more than 100 organizations and employers, including ADVA and VA representatives.
