This is an update with regard to the Press Release issued Thursday, February 24, 2022, with regard to the Murder that occurred in our city same date. The victim is identified as Rodney Tavaras Pettaway, a 26-year-old Millbrook resident. On F
riday, February 25, 2022, Millbrook detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Murder against the alleged offender, Jamiah Marquis Burke, a 23-year-old Millbrook resident, who was served while in custody, at the Elmore County Jail. Burke remains in custody under a $250,000.00 bond, This case remains under investigation. There is no additional information available for release at this time.
