The full-service marketing company is called 1Social Buzz and even its owners’ titles reflect that this is no ordinary firm. Kristy Andreadakis is also known as the “Founder of Fun” and the “Director of Storytelling” and Kristina Boddie is the co-owner and insiders call her the “Punctuation Princess!” Combined these two dynamic women represent more than 36 years of marketing experience.
Andreadakis said the titles are just part of the company’s flair for conversational marketing. “We aren’t afraid to be edgy,” she said, “but we also know how to nurture and grow the lifetime value of our client’s customers.”
Boddie added, “Our people are very down-to-earth. We make sure our work has our customers’ own intricacies and that their personalities are showing through in their content. We really get to know our clients. Some are extremely involved in the process and others leave it to us to make our professional recommendations.”
Although they are a small, local company, their client base is not limited to the River Region. Boddie said the firm serves clients throughout the United States as well as Canada, Australia and Germany. “We can work with small to large companies worldwide. We are not bound to certain zip codes, which keeps our work very interesting!”
She added, “Even though we have the ability to work on million-dollar accounts, I really enjoy working with local small business owners and really diving in to understand their marketing goals. Kristy has this crazy ability to break down the digital world and put together a strategy that answers to all of our client’s goals. At the end of the day, it’s all about helping our clients grow their businesses.”
Boddie said developing a strategy with clients is really important and is the reason the company connects with clients so well “We get down in the trenches with them to figure out a strategy that makes them stand out. Blending in is boring, and it certainly doesn’t fit in a marketing plan,” she said.
“Sometimes we meet outstanding new business owners that have all these crazy great ideas, but they don’t know how to communicate their goals,” she said. “We help them develop their purpose through a solid marketing strategy. We help new businesses build buzz-worthy brands!” Buzz-Worthy Brands is actually one of their signature products.
Andreadakis is the founder of the company and Boddie joined forces after the two women met at a Chamber event where Andreadakis was speaking. “I felt like she was talking to me,” Boddie said. Boddie joined the company in July 2020 in the middle of the Corona pandemic. The two women opened an office in the Lilly Pad Shopping Center in August after previously working remotely.
1Social Buzz is also a new member of the Millbrook Chamber and Boddie said the experience has been extremely positive. She is also an Ambassador for the Chamber and is active in welcoming new members to the Chamber.
“We are lucky to have the Chamber,” Andreadakis said. “It is providing us business development tools as well as great networking opportunities.” She said one of her favorite Chamber events is the monthly morning coffee gatherings called Morning Brew.
“One of us busy bees (pun intended) tries to be at as many Chamber events as possible,” she said.
One thing both Boddie and Andreadakis are excited about is that they will be launching a new service to their clients that will help them target their audiences much more efficiently. The two business owners are keeping the details under wraps for now but can’t wait to introduce the service in a few months.
While they are buzzin’ around town, we should point out that behind the scenes, they both have great support through their families. They are also multi-business owners, operating a pilot school, as well as a sports performance business, both also in the River Region.
