Elmore County Schools: COVID Numbers Decline; Dual Enrollment Meeting Feb. 21, 24

FROM RICHARD DENNIS, SUPT. OF ELMORE COUNTY SCHOOLS

COVID numbers are down further this week with 19 students and 4 employees reporting testing positive.  Please, take any necessary precaution, especially for those with health issues.

Students from all high schools that plan to take dual enrollment courses through Central Alabama Community College on campus at the Elmore County Technical Center next year, please plan to attend one of the two mandatory parent meetings on either Monday, February 21st or Thursday February 24th.  Both meetings will be held in the commons area at Wetumpka High School at 6:00 p.m.  Attendance at one of these meetings is required in order to enroll in these classes for the 2022-2023 school year.

This meeting only applies to Central Alabama Community College Dual enrollment classes offered at the Elmore County Technical Center.  If you plan to take dual enrollment through another 2-year or 4-year institution, you do not need to attend one of these meetings.  Returning students and their parents are not required to attend. If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact Jared Sellers or Emilie Johnson at 334-567-1218.

Be reminded, if you would prefer to get my call outs and other system-wide communications texted to you through Remind, visit the Elmore County Public Schools website and follow the registration process.

We appreciate your support and have a great weekend!
