The Wetumpka Police Department is investigating multiple Thefts and seeks the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

Starting on 01/29/22 through 02/06/22 Wetumpka Investigators advise that the same unknown male has attempted and/or successfully broken into several retail business registers and stolen cash from the register drawers. This person is also a suspect in Prattville and Millbrook, Alabama using the exact same method to steal cash from register drawers from other retail stores.  Last night (Sunday 2/6/22), he broke into three registers and stole a total of $1,839 in cash. He was seen leaving on 2/6/22 as a passenger in a grey 4 door sedan.

Investigators are also releasing photos of a suspect described as a black male that is believed to be a lookout who participated in distracting associates while at a retail store in Wetumpka, AL.
