FROM THE AUTAUGA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
The Autauga County Sheriff’s Office has received the identity of the remains found in a wooded area in Autauga County on November 27, 2021.
The Alabama Department of Forensic Science made identification through DNA comparison. The remains have been identified as belonging to Eddie Roland Cunningham, a 44-year-old white male who was reported missing in Autauga County on August 21, 2020 from the Group Home he was living. He was originally from Montgomery.
The Alabama Department of Forensic Science was unable to determine cause of death. Sheriff Joe Sedinger asks that everyone please keep the family of Mr. Cunningham in your thoughts and prayers.
