Chadwick Smith announces Candidacy for Alabama State House of Representatives for District 31

FROM THE CHADWICK SMITH CAMPAIGN

Chadwick Smith of Deatsville has announced his candidacy for the Alabama State House of Representatives, Elmore County, District 31, Republican seat to replace the retiring Representative Mike Holmes.

Smith has worked in technology for over 25 years helping numerous businesses across the South and government agencies. He is an avid public speaker regarding cybersecurity and other technology related issues sharing with others how to digitally secure business and maintain privacy.

Smith was raised in Prattville before moving to Elmore County 21 years ago.  He and his wife Kelli have been married for 26 years and have five children.  They host a family Bible study on Monday nights at the Millbrook YMCA.  He and his family live on a small farm where they enjoy the outdoors.

“My family has lived in Alabama for over six generations, and our state offers a great environment to continue to raise a family and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors.  I believe my background in business and technology will allow Alabama to have an experienced advocate in the State House to prepare us for our technology future while maintaining our freedoms.  My extensive experience working with Alabama agencies and helping them solve complex problems has prepared me to operate within the government with an understanding of how it functions.  I need your vote on May 24th in the primaries.”
