PAHS Pet of the Week: Rambo! Boxer/Hound Mix is a Senior Dog, but Very Active

PAHS Pet of the Week

From Barbara Sanford

Rambo is an 8-year-old male Boxer/Hound mix who has already been neutered.  He is an owner turn in because his owner has been deployed.  Rambo has a brown coat with quite a bit of white markings; and his tail is docked.  He currently weighs only 33 pounds so he is considered to be a medium sized adult dog.  Although Rambo is considered to be a senior dog, he is quite active for his age.  He is leash trained but not house trained.  Rambo would love a nice, fenced yard where he could safely exercise and play.  He would be good with other dogs and children.  Rambo is such a sweet guy who will make an excellent family dog.  Please consider giving him a new home and all the love he could want.

Our adoption fee is $120.00 for dogs and $50.00 for cats.  This fee covers a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.  Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative.

The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville.  Our regular hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm.  We are closed the last Thursday of the month for staff training.  Adoptions are currently by appointment only.   For more information about our shelter,  please call 358-2882, find us on Facebook at Prattville/Autauga Humane Society, email [email protected] or visit our website at www.prattvilleautaugahumane.org
