From The City of Prattville

The Prattville Creative and Performing Arts Council has received a $15,600 grant from the Alabama State Council on the Arts to fund the annual Celebration of the Arts.

With these funds, the City of Prattville and the Prattville Creative and Performing Arts Council will host a series of events from March 3 through April 2 to promote arts experiences and opportunities in the Prattville Community and surrounding areas. This grant signifies that through this project, the Prattville Creative and Performing Arts Council is making Alabama’s communities stronger and our state’s arts and culture sector more vibrant.

This grant, awarded by the Alabama State Council on the Arts, is made possible through funding from an annual appropriation from the Alabama State Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts. This public support enables the Prattville Creative and Performing Arts Council to reach new audiences, foster community development, provide the highest quality programming, and demonstrate the importance of arts as a key component for quality of life in Alabama.
