Kidnapped Georgia Teen Rescued in Montgomery by ALEA, SBI and Montgomery Officers

MONTGOMERY COUNTY— Special Agents with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) along with Troopers from ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division and officers from the Montgomery Police Department (MPD) successfully recovered a 16-year-old juvenile that had been kidnapped from Clayton County Ga.

SBI Special Agents, ALEA Troopers along with officers from MPD received notification concerning the 16-year-old’s whereabouts in-conjunction with a description of the suspect’s vehicle who kidnapped the youth. Officers identified the suspect’s vehicle in a business parking lot located at 3619 Eastern Blvd. in Montgomery.

Shortly after confirming the vehicle location, officers were able to recover the teen without incident. The suspect who kidnapped the youth was also taken into custody and identified as Ronald Rodas, 41, of La.
