AUTAUGA COUNTY – A LifeFlight helicopter is on the way to Autaugaville after a high-speed pursuit with Autauga County deputies ended with the suspect vehicle crashing near the Minnow Bucket on Hwy. 14 in Autaugaville.
Details are limited at this time, as this just occurred around 11:40 a.m.
Per radio traffic, an Autauga County deputy was pursuing a vehicle with multiple passengers including children reportedly in the vehicle. It began on Hwy. 14 near County Road 3 and proceeded west with speeds in the area of 100 miles per hour at times per radio traffic.
Ambulances are on the way, and the degree of injuries is not yet known. Autauga County Sheriff Joe Sedinger is on scene, and we will reach out to him for more information as it becomes available. Deputies were requesting additional officers on scene for traffic control. We will update as soon as possible.
