FROM THE ELMORE COUNTY COMMISSION
Over the last few weeks, the bridge contractor working on the Redland Road bridge just off US Highway 231 has poured sections of the new concrete deck. The contractor is prepping for the installation of the safety barrier rails and additional roadway widening for the expected traffic shift in the weeks ahead so work on the existing bridge sections can begin.
The project continues to progress and is still on schedule to be completed by the end of 2022. We continue to urge motorists to use extra caution when traveling through the construction zone.
