We have had quite a few changes and additions within the last 24 hours. Thank you for keeping up with our updates. Here is what we have planned:
Christmas on the Coosa Street Parade Update
Based upon the information we have been given of severe weather, it is in the best interest for everyone that Gold Star Park Morning Stage Entertainment and all afternoon activities be canceled for Saturday, December 11, 2021. The Street Parade will be moved to Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 6pm and South Main Street from 231 will be closed at 5:30pm. Skiing Santa has been canceled and the fireworks show will be postponed (TBA). The Character Breakfast will go as planned on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Character Breakfast tickets are all sold out.
City of Wetumpka Christmas Market
“City of Wetumpka Christmas Market” Saturday, December 18th from 11am-5pm at the Wetumpka Farmers Market. There are many components that need to come together for Christmas on the Coosa and although all activities and schedules do not match in order to postpone, we want to provide this opportunity to our wonderful vendors and our community. All vendors have been contacted, will receive a refund and this Christmas Market is free for all 2021 COTC Vendors. Please come support and shop for those last minute gifts.
