The Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its “Giving Luncheon” Dec. 9 at 11:30 a.m. at The Catfish House located at 3011 Cobbs Ford Road in Millbrook.
This year donations will benefit the WELCOME Center Food Pantry of Millbrook. Canned goods, gift cards and monetary donations would be appreciated.
WELCOME Center Needs:
Groceries – Peanut butter and jelly, pasta and sauce, oatmeal and cereal, coffee, tea and hot chocolate; grits and rice; soup, stew and chili; bread – any type; canned meat and tuna; sugar; macaroni and cheese; boxed complete meals; dressing, anything seasonal; canned fruit and juice; canned vegetables; dried beans, Ramen noodles; crackers and cookies; flour, cornmeal, Crisco, oil; baking or biscuit mix; individually wrapped snacks; hotdogs and buns; lunch meat; powdered milk; canned yams, cranberry sauce.
NON-FOOD ITEMS:
Deodorant; shampoo and conditioner; toothpaste and toothbrushes; bath soap; sanitary pads and tampons; dish and laundry detergent, household cleaners; paper towels and Kleenex; disposable razors and shaving cream; trial sized products; toilet paper and diapers.
