Single Vehicle Crash Claims Life of Calera Woman identified as Anneliese Franks, 37

MONTGOMERY POST – A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 12:10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, has claimed the life of a Calera woman. Anneliese M. Franks, 37, was fatally injured when the 700 Yamaha Grizzly all-terrain vehicle (ATV) she was operating left the roadway, causing her to be thrown off. Franks was transported to the Shelby Baptist Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased. The crash occurred on Chilton County 151, approximately four miles south of Calera, in Chilton County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
