Coosada Baptist and Restoration Church recently hosted individual Fall Festivals with great crowds and plenty of happy kids.

Coosada Fire Department as well as Coosada Police Department attended both events to which they took part in the Trunk or Treat festivities. Attending Coosada Baptist Church’s fall festival, were Fire Meets Wood as well as Kona Ice.

In the festivities, the children were able to venture around to play all sorts of small games to “win” candy. The children appeared to be having a blast as they traveled from game to game. I did notice a few adults joining in and participating in the games with the children. At around 5 p.m., we traveled to Restoration Church.

As a treat, Coosada Fire brought out the smoke house for the children to go through if they were interested. As the children exited the smoke box, Firefighters were waiting for them outside with candy on hand. There were a variety of games, from a cake walk to cornhole. The children, and volunteers were all smiles.
