Friday, November 5, 2021, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. over 40 musical and artistic entertainers came out to showcase their talents at Main Street Wetumpka’s Art Walk. It was the opportunity for the community to come together and support their local talent. During the evening there was also a raffle of preselected artwork pieces to those who attended the event.

Wanda Kirk with Wanda Kirk Ceramics was an art vendor was in attendance. “I am self-taught and so I create all of my artwork with my own kilt. I have been making ceramics for about three years now, however I have been doing artwork since I was a kid.”

Paula Susen, with PS Designs, was also an art vendor in attendance with her “Quirked up Birds” designs on drinking glasses and corked wine bottles. She calls her work, “Abstract expression at its finest!” Her inspiration for her designs comes from her career of doing artistic crafts as an occupational therapist. She has always been drawn to her creativeness.

Ellah Ingram was the youngest art vendor attending the event at only 12-years-old. Inspired by watching movies and nature, she has created elegant bookmarks, notecards, and coloring pages that she beautifully displays. She enjoys doing artistic portraits with watercolors. She loves crafting but when she is not crafting, she loves to play her Nintendo Switch and play in the band at Wetumpka Middle School. The Art Walk of Wetumpka will return next year in April 2022.

Thank you to organizers and vendors who made this season a huge success!
