The Stanhope Elmore Mustang Players recently participated in the Trumbauer Theatre Festival. They were very successful in their performances and theatre designs!
They entered a total of 18 Individual Events in the festival.
4/18: received a score that was categorized as excellent!
14/18: received a score that was categorized as superior!
10/18 individual events will represent Stanhope-Elmore High School at the state level.
A huge shoutout to our theatre tech students who worked hard to make sure the studio show was set up and ran smoothly. (Andrew Davis, Riley Moore, Lawson Presley, Aaron Rudnick, and Taylor Reynolds)
Colleen Griffin, Penelope McDaniel, and Maleah Beaufort were recognized in all-star cast for the studio show.
Aniyah Martin won a trophy for best actress in the studio show.
The following students will represent SEHS at the state theatre festival: Maleah Beaufort, Lawson Presley, Natali Jimenez, Maddison McClendon, Aaron Rudnick, Penelope McDaniel, Aniyah Martin, and Alyssa Crews.
100% of our theatre students who participated in Trumbauer ranked superior or excellent in ranking.
52% of the students participating in Trumbauer were passed on to the state level.
Congratulations to all on this amazing accomplishment, and to Theatre Director Brady Walker! The program continues to grow.
