VFW Post 1349 – Prattville
On Friday, VFW Post 1349 received a most special visit by Commander-in-Chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Fritz Mihelcic, along with Alabama State Commander Scott Gedling; Alabama Auxiliary President Kay Gedling; Alabama State Sr. Vice Commander Tammy Johnson; National Auxiliary Chaplain Brenda Bryant; and Alabama District 5 Commander DJ Jones.
Quartermaster Brett Davis and I had the privilege of showing off the Post and introducing our distinguished visitors to a number of our outstanding members. The highlight of the visit was Past Post Quartermaster Mark Fulmer being “Capped” by Commander-in-Chief Mihelcic, in recognition of earning “All American Team” honors for 2020-2021.
