Emily Hutcheson named 2021 Ambassador of the Year by Prattville Chamber of Commerce

The Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce congratulates Emily Hutcheson as 2021 Ambassador of the Year! Thank you for your outstanding commitment and dedicated service to our local community.

Chamber Ambassadors are a highly visible and prestigious group of volunteers who give their time to provide a crucial link between the Prattville Chamber, its members, and the community.

Hutcheson proudly serves at the Butterfly Bridge, CAC Satellite Office of Autauga County. Since 2006, she has worked in the child advocacy center field. Hutcheson brings quality experience to the Butterfly Bridge CAC from her dedicated years of working in victim services.

Emily received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Auburn University and a Master of Education in Counseling from Auburn University at Montgomery. In 2006, she began working as a forensic interviewer and therapist at the Children’s Advocacy Center in Montgomery. She provided leadership in establishing the child advocacy center satellite offices in Elmore and Autauga counties in 2016.

One year later, Hutcheson joined the Butterfly Bridge CAC team and currently serves as the Assistant Director and Child Forensic Interview Specialist. Emily primarily serves in their Autauga and Elmore County satellite offices where she conducts most of the forensic interviews in cases of alleged physical or sexual abuse. While in the field, she has interviewed thousands of children in reported cases of abuse, counseled hundreds, and provided expert testimony in criminal court.

Hutcheson lives in Prattville and attends First Baptist Church in town. She is married to Matt, and they have two daughters. Emily is a huge Auburn fan and enjoys running, spending time with her family and being involved in her community.
