ALEX CITY POST — A traffic crash involving a pedestrian that occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, has claimed the life of a Goodwater man. Ocie Louis Williams, 65, was walking in the roadway when a 1998 Jeep Wrangler driven by Jonathan Lindenthaler of Sylacauga struck Williams. Williams was taken to Coosa Valley Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. The crash occurred on Coosa County 511 approximately four miles north of Goodwater, in Coosa County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
