Abira was chosen to be our featured pet this week.
Abira is an 8-month-old female Pointer/Lab mix who has already been spayed. Abira is totally gorgeous! She has a black coat with beautiful white markings. She currently weighs 40 pounds so she is considered to be a medium sized young adult dog. Not only is Abira a beauty queen–she is a great dog! She is good with children and other dogs.
Abira is very playful and would love to have a fenced yard she could play in. This pretty girl will find a home quickly. She is both housetrained and leash trained. What more could you ask for? Our adoption fee is $120 for dogs and $50 for cats. This fee covers a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville. Our regular hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm. We do close one day each month for staff training which will be this coming Thursday, September 30th.
Adoptions are currently by appointment only.
