It is Homecoming Week for Stanhope Elmore High School, with plenty of activities, including the Homecoming Parade Thursday.
The Homecoming Parade will begin at 1:45 p.m. sharp Thursday. Officials say this day is better than Football game Friday. The parade will leave SEHS down Hampton Oaks, make a right at the Marquis on to Main Street, then make another right on Chapman down to Millbrook Middle School. The Homecoming game against Eufaula is at 7 p.m. Friday and the Homecoming Court will be presented prior to the game at 6:15 p.m.
Homecoming activities –
Tuesday is Field Day from 9 a.m. to Noon. Grade levels will be split due to Covid social distancing.
Tuesday afternoon is the much-awaited Powder Puff Football game at 1:30 p.m. Football players will once again serve as the cheerleaders for this event. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at GoFan.co
Wednesday is a professional development day, and students will work from home on Chromebooks.
Thursday – Homecoming Parade! 1:45 p.m.
On Friday a pep rally for juniors and seniors only will be held in the gym at 9 a.m. There will be plenty of fun activities and the annual SloMo presentation of seniors.
