FROM NANCY SCHRULL
PRATTVILLE/MILLBROOK NEWCOMERS CLUB
We had dinner last week at Fat Boy’s BBQ near downtown Prattville. It has one of the nicest trees I have ever seen. Fallen Tree is to honor those with Alabama ties and all those who lost their life in the attack on the United States on Sept 11, 20 years ago. It was designed and placed by the Alabama Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
It will stand for the entire month of September on display for all to see. It displays all the names of those who died on that tragic day. Join us as we remember and honor those who sacrificed it all.
It is a “must go see” and the BBQ is worth driving to eat. Downhome BBQ platters and sandwiches in a rustic, creekside cabin with outdoor seating – Where “everything is homemade, the way its supposed to be”. Call for regular hours but usually open for lunch Mon. thru SAT. and dinner Thur. Fri. and Sat..
See the attached pictures, but go see for yourself. Or, google Fat Boys BBQ, Prattville.
