MONTGOMERY POST — A single-vehicle crash involving a pedestrian that occurred at approximately 9:15 a.m. Monday, Aug. 30, has claimed the life of a Prattville man. Brandon F. Barber, 33, was fatally injured when a 2021 Chevrolet Traverse driven by Dylan Ryan Green, 29 of Jemison struck Barber.
Green failed to yield to the traffic control sign Barber was holding within a construction zone. The crash occurred on Alabama 191 near the 11 mile marker, in Chilton County, approximately two miles south of Jemison.
Barber was transported to St. Vincent’s in Clanton, where he was pronounced deceased. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
