FROM PRATTVILLE AUTAUGA HUMANE SHELTER
We chose to feature a kitty this week—her name is Boo.
Boo is a 6-year-old black and white female cat that has already been spayed. She came to the shelter after her owner passed away. She wasn’t quite cooperative on picture day, but enjoyed having a few snapped of her under our makeshift photo set. Boo is a silly girl and is patiently waiting for her new family and home.
Our adoption fee is $120.00 for dogs and $50.00 for cats. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under “special needs” our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
The shelter is located at 1009 Reuben Road in Prattville. Our regular hours are Monday through Saturday from 11 am until 4 pm. We do close one day each month for staff training. That will be on Thursday, August 26th. Adoptions are currently by appointment only.
