From Prattville Police Department
On 08/06/2021 at approximately 0045 hours, the Prattville Police Department responded to the vicinity of 1714 E Main St. (parking lot of Blue Iguana Bar/Bama Lanes) in reference to gunshots.
Officers that were in the area heard two distinct gunshots and responded to the scene, quickly identifying, and detaining the suspect, Teto Williams (34), and also providing life-saving first aid to the victim, who was found with a gunshot wound in his chest.
Victim was identified as Williams’ brother. The victim was transported to Baptist South for emergency medical treatment, where he was last listed as in critical but stable condition.
Williams was arrested for Attempted Murder and transported to the Autauga County Metro Jail with a $150,000.00 cash bond. Case is still pending further investigation.
