From the Wetumpka Chamber of Commerce
Like many towns and cities across the nation, we have been receiving notice of an employment crisis in our area. Given the boost of tourism that we are about to receive through the HGTV Home Town Takeover, we felt it prudent to start with a hospitality focused job fair.
We want to help. We are planning a Wetumpka Works Together Hospitality Job Fair for June 2nd from 10am-2pm at the Wetumpka Civic Center.
If you are a hospitality focused business (member or non-member) and you need staff to fill positions, please RSVP with your business name, contact information, and positions that you are wanting to fill.
This is a complementary event that we are providing for our community.
Future plans are being discussed for additional job fairs in different sectors.
