The Stanhope Elmore High School Theatre Department is gearing up for their 2nd Annual Dinner Theatre Fundraiser, a production of Guys and Dolls Jr.

Show dates are April 23 and 24 with the curtain rising at 7 p.m. in the old gymnasium at SEHS.

SEHS Theatre Instructor Brady Walker said, “This is a collaborative effort between the Family and Consumer Science Department/FCCLA, and our Theatre department and The SE Mustang Players. The tickets are $24 and can be purchased on Gofan.co, or from the Theatre Department and FCS Department/FCCL.

Principal Ewell Fuller had fantastic things to say about the theatre department at SEHS.

“I love their enthusiasm. We have a great group of kids and staff that really work hard, and they could use all the support they can get,” he said.

As a primary fundraiser for the program, Walker said he is hoping there is a great turnout for both productions. If any area businesses or individuals are interested in helping support the SEHS Theatre, please contact SEHS. Every little bit helps, and will allow the students and staff to continue building the program.
