The Lake Jordan HOBO will host a litter clean up Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 8 am to 1 pm beginning at Bonner’s Point on Lake Jordan.
Lake Jordan HOBO Lake Cleanup day, along with other lakes in Alabama, have removed over 15 million pounds of debris from Southern Company lakes since the project began in 1991.
Groups begin in their area and bring the debris to Bonner’s Point Lake Jordan.
Anyone planning to participate should bring chest waders, if they own them, trash removal tools, buckets, etc. Smaller fishing boats and pontoon boats can be used.

LAKE MARTIN CLEAN UP
Also this Saturday, volunteers will gather at Lake Martin Mini Mall for a litter clean up in the Lake Martin area. Supplies can be picked up at Lake Martin Mini Mall from 8am to 12 noon (bags, pickers, vests, & water). Please bring your own gloves. After the litter clean up has ended around 12 noon, collected trash can be taken to the Lake Martin Mini Mall where a hot dog lunch will be provided for volunteers.
