On behalf of the Elmore County Commission I joined Mayor Al Kelley in Millbrook yesterday to welcome teams from more than 15 states fishing in the American Crappie Trail national championship taking place in Elmore county over the next three days.
Weigh-ins will take place in the parking lot in front of Air Now on Main St in Millbrook stating about 3:00pm this Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The Elmore County Commission appreciates being able to work with Mayor Al Kelley, the City of Millbrook and the Elmore County Economic Development Authority to bring this tournament to our area. Many of these teams came to Elmore county earlier in the week in preparation for this tournament which will have a very positive impact on our local economy.
We welcome these fisherman to our community as they come to enjoy the wonderful fishing opportunities in Elmore County.
