I had the extreme honor to speak to the ladies of the Friends and Newcomers Club this morning for their general meeting at Bon Appetite in Millbrook.
Have you heard of them? I am happy tell you about this amazing group of energetic ladies who like to gather for lunch, parties, special events and so much more.
Maybe you are new to the area, and want to make new friends? Maybe you have lived here a while and just want to expand your social circle? Either way, I highly recommend you check out this group and join them for their fun adventures.

Interest groups and community events are loaded with possibilities. They include but are not limited to:
Game Days, movies and dining out, birthday celebrations, Book Club, Plays and Events, Christmas Tree Trail, supporting the Prattville Autauga Humane Shelter, Trips and Tours, various stitch, crochet, knitting and craft clubs to name a few. They love to share recipes, donate and volunteer at local food pantries, and help with recycling.
The mission of the club is to provide a means for ladies to become acquainted with one another, the communities around them and promote friendship through various club activities.
They welcome new ladies to the area as well as those living here to form new friendships through fun activities. They are a social club and they invite you to participate in their Interest Groups, General Meetings and Community events.
Visitors are welcome! All ladies are invited to visit the Club’s general meeting and attend any interest group meeting during the month. Most of the interest groups meet monthly. Membership Chair will provide information about joining. The newsletter and their Facebook page will provide times and places.
General meetings are held the third Thursday of the month from 9:30 a.m. till 11:30 a.m. September thru May at Bon Appetit located at 5090 Main Street in Millbrook.
