Elmore County Public School COVID-19 Information for February 5, 2021

FROM RICHARD DENNIS

SUPT. OF ELMORE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS

In the first week of February, 8 employees and 34 students reported testing positive for COVID-19. Holtville High School’s boys basketball cancelled participation in the Area tournament due to students impacted by COVID-19 self-isolations.

Elmore County elementary, middle, and high schools will begin to offer credit recovery and standards recovery options for students struggling in specific subjects. These options will be free to students and will begin February 8.

If you have questions or would like for your student to participate, please contact the administration at your student’s school. All students participating will be expected to be enrolled and participating by February 19 in order to complete the curriculum requirements.

February 9 will be an e-learning day for all 9th, 11th, and 12th grade students while the 10th grade takes the Pre-ACT on campus.

February 10 will be an e-learning day for all students as teachers complete professional development training.

If you wish to get call outs and other system-wide communications texted to you through Remind, visit the Elmore County Public Schools website and follow the registration process.

Thank you for your support and have a great weekend!
