COVID-19 Vaccination UPDATE from Baptist Health and ADPH: COVID Drive-Up Vaccine Clinic

The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH), in conjunction with Baptist Health, City of Montgomery, Montgomery County and Tri County Emergency Management Agencies will host a drive-up COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic February 8 – 12, 2021.

As we work to ensure a smooth vaccination process for qualifying individuals, please review the information below and bookmark this page for Drive-up Vaccination Clinic updates to come.

The Drive-Up Vaccine Clinic will not open until February 8, 2021.

Clinic Dates: February 8 – 12, 2021

Hours: Entry to site begins at 8 AM with vaccinations being administered from 9 AM to 7 PM.

Location: 3003 E. South Boulevard, Montgomery’s South/Central Police & Fire/Rescue Precinct

Appointments ARE NOT required for this clinic. Eligible participants do not need to call ahead of time.

COVID-19 vaccinations will be offered to those in eligible ADPH phases on a first come, first served basis.

Who Are We Serving at This Time?

Organizers plan to administer more than 5,000 vaccine doses to eligible Alabamians in phases 1A and 1B, and people 65 years of age and older. Expanded priority groups effective February 8, 2021 are as follows:

• Healthcare workers

• First responders including EMS, firefighters, and law enforcement

• Frontline critical workers – corrections officers, food and agriculture workers, U.S. Postal Service workers, manufacturing workers, grocery store workers, public transit workers, people who work in the education sector (teachers, support staff, community college and higher education), childcare workers, judiciary (including but not limited to) circuit judges, district judges and district attorneys

• People that work or live in congregate settings

What Can I Expect?

The public will enter via East South Boulevard at Strathmore Drive.

• If you are driving, remain IN your vehicle. A member of the vaccine clinic team will approach your vehicle to direct you further and your vaccine will be administered at your car.

• If you are walking or using public transportation, please go directly to the check-in tent. The vaccine team will advise you further on next steps.

• Face coverings are required.

• Photo ID that includes their date of birth is required..

• Proper identification to  meet ADPH eligibility criteria is required.

• You will be asked to wait 15 minutes before leaving the clinic area.

• After that 15 minute waiting period, you will receive a record of the vaccine you received.

Important Reminders

• Do NOT call for an appointment.

• Entry to the site begins at 8 AM daily with vaccinations beginning at 9 AM.

• The Drive-Up Vaccine Clinic will not open until February 8, 2021.

• Attendees should bring a photo ID that includes their date of birth as well as identification to show they meet ADPH eligibility requirements as referenced above.
