MONTGOMERY POST – A single-vehicle crash at approximately 12:32 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, has claimed the life of a Hayneville woman. Jamonica T. Smith, 24, of was killed when the 2000 Honda Accord she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. Smith, who was wearing a seat belt, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred on Lowndes County 33 near McQueen Road, approximately eight miles south of Hayneville. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
